Are you ready for a breakthrough in your life, career, or relationship?

The most successful people have a clear sense of direction and get there by asking themselves and others better questions. To change behavior that leads to positive, sustainable change depends on changing thinking first. And changing thinking requires knowing how to change the internal questions that drive thinking, behaving and results. Question Thinking is a breakthrough thinking strategy that activates a mental “master switch” for predictably producing more successful and satisfying results.

What it is

Our one-day workshop is a practical and powerful introduction to the Question Thinking (QT) System of Tools and Practices—which leads to more success, satisfaction and breakthrough results. You can literally change your relationships, experiences, and results professionally and personally by changing the questions you ask yourself and others. Great results really do begin with great questions!

What you get

In this enlightening, “hands-on,” and results-oriented workshop you’ll learn QT methods and tools while applying them to a current relevant challenge or goal for new thinking, possibilities, and results. These simple, easy-to-apply tools and strategies help you close the gap between what needs to happen and how to make it happen.

  • Experience how these powerful QT methods strengthen resilience, mindfulness, creativity, and satisfaction as well as boost productivity, engagement, collaboration, and desired results for yourself and others.
  • Learn the basics on the how to apply cutting edge QT methods to catalyze deeper effectiveness with current personal and/or organizational initiatives including with leadership, management, team development and effectiveness.

Change Your Questions, Change Your Results

ADVANCED

A Transformational Two-Day Workshop

October 2 & 3, 2017 (Mon. & Tues.)

Marilee Adams, Ph.D.

Bestselling author of Change Your Questions, Change Your Life

Do you want to make a real difference in the quality of your life AND the lives of others?

What it is

The advanced Change Your Questions, Change Your Results Workshop is a transformational professional and personal learning and skill-building experience—based on the Question Thinking (QT) Method of Tools and Practices. Building on the first day (the Basics workshop), the second day takes a deep dive into the questioning and mindset work and how to use for empowering positive change for individuals and organizations.

What you get

The CYQ Advanced workshop focuses intensely on professional, personal, and organizational development and effectiveness. This deeper dive into the mindset work helps you personally cultivate a more resilient Learner Mindset while minimizing the impact of Judger (judgmental) mindset in yourself and others. These robust self-management skills for “Learner living” bring insight, resilience, freedom—and widely expanded possibilities, both personally and professionally. This strengthens confidence in your personal ability to be more effective and satisfied in achieving goals and successfully navigating inevitable challenges.

The second day of the workshop also explores the unintended costs and consequences of Judger Mindset with the goal of developing more robust Learner organizations, teams, and cultures. Organizations and teams gain significant bottom-line advantages when people consistently operate with a Learner Mindset, ask open-minded questions of themselves and others, and share practices for sustaining and reinforcing positive changes.

How it works

The two QT success factors of mindsets and questioning are based on enlightened knowledge of individual and organizational change as well as transformational and experiential learning principles. QT is aligned with groundbreaking and practical research on the neuroscience of happiness, mindfulness, learning and growth. This 2-day workshop incudes 3 follow-up teleseminar sessions with guided practical self-study and learning. This workshop is also a prerequisite for the Inquiry Institute’s Chief Question Officer® Training Certificate Program.

“We’ve used Q-Storming so successfully in our work with teams that it has led to a radical transformation in how people approach and resolve problems. It’s also made an immediate and sustained change in their behavior. Q-Storming® is often more powerful than brainstorming. After all, it’s not possible to get great ideas, results, and answers without first asking great questions! Q-Storming is a collaborative thinking and creativity process that stimulates the discovery of new questions and new thinking, solutions, and possibilities.

Q-Storming® typically produces breakthrough results in contexts such as management, leadership, innovation, strategic planning, problem-solving, decision-making, and coaching—with teams, groups, and organizations. Q-Storming contributes to design thinking and can be done in person or virtually, e.g. with global teams or coaching clients.

The Q-Storming Workshop covers:

  • Why it is so powerful (includes the neuroscience of creativity and collaboration)
  • Basics of facilitating Q-Storms (includes the three phases of the process)
  • How to formulate the best goals that make this practical process work so well
  • Practice with an individual, team, or organizational challenge & multiple applications
